• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Kailua, Hi
A little information on the Unimog.

5.7 N/A Diesel 35k miles 3200 hrs
"20 speed" trans with optional crawler box
4 ton axles
locking diffs front and rear (air)
3 PTOs F, M, R
Hydraulics F/R with high capacity tank for rear.
46 Michelin XMLs 90% tread. Spare wheel and tire

New:
Air tank, air lines, brake lines, wheel cylinders, brake master cyl, clutch master cylinder, battery box, air cleaner.

As you can see there is rust on the cab, but only surface rust on the frame.
I used this solely as an offroad vehicle, but only took it out a few times over the 6 or so years I've owned it.

Lots more information on it, I could type for a while. If you have any questions shoot em my way.

Kailua, Hi
I had an offer of 9500 last year. Which is pretty accurate. eBay is a pretty good place to compare prices.

Edit: you can check benzworld.org also. It's another forum full of good info.

I would love to have it, but the price and timing are a little off for me.

I'm definitely lenient with trade values, what are you thinking? What do you have? PM me if you would like.

Very cool rig indeed, wish you were closer so I could check it out in person. I've always wanted a 70's 406 shorty or crew, just need to build a shop first. If you haven't already, you may want to post an ad at Pirate4x4 or one of the Mog forums you mentioned, sell it outright and apply the money to the EB you want. The traffic at Pirate isn't what it is at Benzworld, but you stand a better shot of finding somebody with a fully built off-road EB for trade possibly...not a very high probability considering the two vehicles involved though. Toyota or Jeep...different story.

My wife has said that she'd like a Mercedes...I'm thinking she should have been more specific with the year and model because her birthday is coming up and a Mog would make a great gift. ;D

Kailua, Hi
Yeah, I think its gonna hit ebay tomorrow. Thats where i know it will sell. Whenever I post an ad on forums, i get a ton of tire kickers with lots of "can it do this" type questions and really are just curious. Before, I was never really in a hurry to sell. I'm not really now either, I just am wanting a EB pretty badly. I figured I'd give the bronco guys a shot before I tossed it up on fleabay.

The "snorkel" is a little deceiving. It's really only good up to the bottom of the windshield. They came from the factory with the intake up top to keep the dust away.
It wouldn't take much at all to waterproof it all the way to the top. I decided not to just so I couldn't tempt myself.

The way I see it you already have an awesome chassis for a custom EB, just buy one of the Bronco in a box bodies, weld it up and stick it on the mog chassis. A EB with Portals and the Merc diesel running gear would be sweet.

Kailua, Hi
Sorry for the late reply. But yes, and right outside Nashville, but currently live in Jacksonville, FL. Thanks
