I'm looking to trade my project U13 bronco for a 66-77 bronco that's already been cut. I'd rather trade or sale my U13 to someone who has in intentions to restore it and bring it back to it's original look. I don't want to cut the rear quarters and pull the trans/motor ONLY because it's a 66 U13 bronco, other than that it would have possibly been done already. I haven't done too much to the bronco since I have bought it. It's a project, it will need to be trailered to it's new home if I do end up getting rid of it. I recently changed the motor oil and also the oil filter and the factory 1 barrel carburator has just been rebuilt by my dad. The motor runs smooth with no signs of knocking. It only has 19,9XX original miles on the factory 6 cylinder.
Original '66 parts include:
1966 hood (will need to be replaced)
1966 tailgate (will need to be replaced)
1966 hardtop with glass intact (not cracked or chipped)
1966 oil bath air cleaner
Roadster driver side fender-mounted mirror
Roadster door inserts
Eyebrow grill
New&Used parts included:
newly-used fuel pump (currently installed)
Motorcraft spark plugs
AC Delco spark plug wires
Brake master cylinder
Floor pans
Used hood and tailgate off '73 bronco
Tan soft top (late 60s model?)
I'm possibly forgetting more items that I cannot think of at the time. Again, the only reason I'm considering trading my bronco is because I want a cut bronco that I can also take off-road and not be afraid of messing up. Sure, I can do that with my 66 but I woud feel guilty cutting the rear quarters and changing the drivetrain out. If all else fails, it will get a motor/trans swap and have the rear quarters cut. I'm just seeing if anyone out there would like to trade before I go through all the trouble with the drivetrain swap.
I'm only going to consider trading/selling it for a couple of weeks. If I don't get any hits then I will soon be pulling the body off the frame and transplanting a '79 F150s drivetrain in place.. So if you're in or around the South Texas area and you might be interested in trading or buying it out right, please don't be afraid to PM me or call/text me for more information. My number is (830) 299-2641. I would prefer text due to my work schedule as it changes every week, I work shift work. Title paperwork has been sent off today (10-21-13) and I should receive it soon under my name. Thanks.
$3,300 without the hard top and soft top.
$3,900 with the hard top and soft top.
PRICE IS FIRM.
Here's a link to photos for anyone intersted.
