York compressor help...

So I did the onboard air mod using a York compressor and it works pretty well. I have noticed that my clutch seems to engage and disengage from time to time when I have power to it. I traced it down to the "brush" directly behind the pulley. As far as I can tell, the power wire runs to this brush assembly, and the brush, well acts like a brush in an electric motor.. rubs behind the pulley and, from what I assume, allows the circuit to be complete while allowing the pulley to rotate..

what is this brush called? any clue? I think I need to get a new one...

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but do you have any pics of your install? Does the compressor sit on the driver or passenger side?

Ryan.
