    Custom exhaust or exhaust kit?

If you can mig weld, you can build your own very nice system.

    New hood or old

Have you tried the new hood fitment? They have a tendency to be a bit bowed up on passenger side. If original is in great condition, front lip especially, I would use it. The openings allow some cooler air flow through engine bay. So key is to do a good pre fit to see if the gaps are what you...

    Meddle’s (interior) rebuild

Which center console is that and where did you buy it? Looks nice.

    Bad gauges?

Hmmm. Then as someone stated, sounds like one of the two gauges are shorting out possibly. Strange.

    Bad gauges?

Run a temporary ground from battery ground to back of cluster housing. If everything works then it’s a grounding problem. Easy fix, just ensure a good ground to dash/cluster.

    Meddle’s (interior) rebuild

Absolutely beautiful! I love how you are doing this yourself, making parts you need, and pulling it all together for a more modern ride. Very nice work!

    Paint time!!

There are brackets that go on top of the bolt section of the top and have raised pieces that the quarter panel trim bends over and attaches to. This cleans up the look of the top bolt down section. Here is a pic of the brackets. I plan on making my own, but all the vendors sale them. Not...

    Paint time!!

🤣 they are tight and it has never moved more than 10 feet in and out of shop. It is not drivable yet. But your right, no reason not to put them on now that I’m done removing wheels.

    Paint time!!

Well, leaving on an extended multi-month work trip. Won’t be able to finish Bronco until the Fall. Wanted to have all the paint done before leaving but failed to get the top painted. So it’s going under a canvas cover in my shop until then. Some final pics:

    Washer Fluid Nozzles Install

Failed to make the holes for the washer fluid nozzles in new hood prior to paint. I decided to go with these from Amazon: They are black with 2 adjustable tips on each nozzle. I found that the original nozzles are offset on the hood. The passenger side is 24.5” from edge of hood and the drivers...

    Parking Brake Equalizer

@jamesroney good call. That one would work much better than the stock one for sure. But then I would have to find something else to fiddle around making :)

    Parking Brake Equalizer

I have not posted about this issue prior but read several posts from others with similar issues. There appears to be 3 different bars. The 66-68 had 2 different types, both seem superior to the 69 and forward models. The Ford trucks also used a differant one for same application. Here is the...

    Parking Brake Equalizer

There are several threads on this subject. Didn’t pay much attention until I started the process of installing all the parking brake components. It’s actually a great and simple system. Only issue is the design of the equalizer bar that the two brake cables connect to and the brake rod pulls...
