Took transfer apart for rebuild and only one detent rod in case. Every manual shows two rods? is this normal? it is a T shift. Also it was working fine. Should I put another rod in or not??

Getting ready to install my transfer case. My question is can the case be bolted to adp. before the rear output is installed or must the output shaft be bolted on before hand. Looks like it would be easyer to do after the case is bolted up?

Putting a np435 in my 1970. Have trans with the adapter installed. Should I have first installed adapter on transfer case then try to bolt to trans, or adp to transmission first?? What is going to be the easy way? O trans is all ready installed in Bronco

I did not take near enough pics of my disassembly. Can anybody tell me, on the frame there are upper and lower holes. One set for the clamps that hold fuel and brake line. The other for the wiring loom. Please what goes where from the factory?

how does the adapter mount to the t case? I removed the bolts but it will not detach it is loose but I can't get it off. Is there some sort of keeper in side?

When removing linkage from a 3 sp. Do I just remove the 2 nuts that hold the bars on the tranny or what? Also should i remove tranny with the t case attached or should I seperate? Thanks
