Figured out mounting locations for my bps sensor and us shift transmission controller. Controller is next to the E brake. Should give me access to it to program and such if needed. Also makes wiring to the speedo easy.

Looks Great! Keep at it and you'll be driving it soon. I like where you mounted the BPS and the controller.

Thanks, I hope to finish the power steering and perhaps the engine bay wiring this weekend, wiring will take a long time.

I finally got the ps finished.

I also have a new expensive obsession. Gold zinc plating everything. Bead blast, send it off and it comes back new.

Damn!!! Wish I wouldn't have seen that. Where are you sending stuff for the gold zinc plating?

The large city has a shop doing it.

Got the efi motor section wiring done. Doesn't look like much, and it will take me a while to get it all cleaned up. Also decided to add some light to my engine bay. It's a rigid led.

Hard top is going under the knife and now I just need to pick a white! Which seems impossible.

I got my ebrake mounted (well mostly). Since it's a 77 I haven't found a diagram that shows it exactly how it was originally installed. 77 is the only year with a center pull like this. I have rear disks, so the return spring isn't needed. Unless I can figure out how it even would help or mount. Works perfectly this way. I had to bolt the bezel on the firewall, it broke the tack welds from the body shop off. Which is good, because it had some surface rust I got to fix.

I ended up pulling my harness off my dash and doing the harness install this way. I got the engine bay all buttoned up, loomed and pretty clean. I am happy with the install. Boy does it take a long time and gets frustrating. Now I have to finish the amp wiring install then next is the front and rear facing LED install, rear heated seat harness and center console harness and the harness will be ready to go back on the dash, hopefully re paint will happen in the next few weeks as well.

So here is the best picture I have of my former 77. The center cable stud should have a hole in that the spring clips through. Aftermarket cable does not have it. I made a "adapter" with some wire.

Thanks, mine doesn't even have the hole for the spring.

Hey if I can bother you with a quick question going back to page 4? When I mock my clocking ring up to the adapter housing I have a small gap I would say maybe a 1/16 or so, did you have this?

Post a picture. I don't know exactly what you are saying.

I think he is talking about the adapter for the trans. If so no there is no gap.
Like this??

Sorry for the late reply! Hopefully you see where I'm talking about here. What about the gaskets? Shouldn't a gasket go between there? Do I have to trim it to fit? Thanks and I'm sorry I'm interrupting your build thread.

More zinc gold back from the coater. I sure love the look. Some of the parts come out better then brand new looking. All door and tailgate and lift gate parts are now zinc plated.

I have been lazy and haven't been working on it much. I'm hopefull to get a lot of time this weekend.
