Well, finally getting back to working on the Bronco again. Have got the motor assembled and on the test stand, still have a few things to get buttoned up, but hope to fire it up this next week. Also, lowered the body down from the rafters and mounted it onto the spare frame. Using a couple of engine stands for the rotisserie. Hope to start ordering body parts that I need next week. Picked up a JD2 bender off of craigslist, added the air over hydraulic ram and built a stand to work off of.

This is my first try at body work. Finished getting the rear quarter out and started on the rockers. Found some previous damage. Will probably need to replace the striker post. Hinge post has rust on the back side bottom, thinking about just replacing the bottom instead of taking the whole post off. PO had used a sign to patch a few places, looks like most places were braised on. Waiting on Black Friday sales to order parts.

Been getting a little more body work done, slow gong since I have not done it before. Not going to weld anything until I know things are fitting right.

Looks like you have a good foundation to work with. It is a good idea to leave one of the door posts on to fit the other one to, gives a good reference point, even if your going to replace both of them. Your doing a good job there. Good luck. Ken

Looking for some help. I clamped the replacement panel to the original. The replacement panel is broke even all the way along the hinge post but the original has a taper from 5/8" to 0 along the post. Cant get the new post to fit without either cutting the new post or cutting the new panel to add the taper. Has anybody else ran into this? New to body work so would like any help I can get.

It takes a lot of fabbing to get them to fit right. I would think it would be easier to trim kick panel to fit. I had to do a lot of trimming and fab work to get the doors to fit right. Don't get to discouraged while your doing it as it will turn out fine. Just do a little at a time until you get it right. I fitted the kick panel first then fitted door post. Good luck, Ken
