After a year long build, I finally fired up my 351w. The truck has been going through a frame off restoration that started in 1998. College, work, and family took up a lot of my time but in the past two years I've been able to slowly inch forward to actually being able to driving my truck. I only ran it for a minute but tonight I'm going to break the engine in. Over the last year I've been watching youtube videos of people first firing up their engine and seeing the exhilaration on their face. Finally, I understand their excitement! ;D I have some pics in my gallery.

Engine specs: 351w, bored .30, 10.5 to 1 compression, forged pistons, AFR 185 58cc heads, Air gap intake, 750 Edelbrock Carb, xe268h comp cam, flowmaster delta 40 exhaust, C4 trans with 2200 performance stall.

Sweet! I hope to be posting a similar thread this spring... Are you going to video the break-in?
