East Coast Alternative - Damper Dudes

I need to get a harmonic balancer rebalanced from 50 to 28oz for a serpentine install and wanted to know if there were any alternatives on the east coast for the Damper Dudes guys?

It looks like they do a good job for a good price but w/ shipping by ground it will take a couple of weeks to turn it around.

Anyone found a comparable service closer to Atlanta, GA?

Thanks,
Chris

I had mine done locally for $48.15.

Napa Auto Parts
2709 Crawfordville Highway, Crawfordville, FL
(850) 926-7135

They pulled a new 28oz 302 balancer off the shelf and matched up my used explorer balancer to it.

Any balance shop should be able to do it.

Should have mentioned that this particular Napa is a machine shop AND a Napa storefront, owned by the same guy. Napa cannot, typically, balance components, but some machine shops can. I'd venture to say that any engine builder or speed shop should be able to point you in the right direction.

Lonesouth - I wanted to thank you for your referral - those guys did a great job. Just got the balancer back along w/ the computer readout. I should be good to go once I start my serp swap.

I would recommend them.
