Ford Bronco production started in August 1965 with the vin 732000. This vin sequence also included other ford vehicles as well so there is no way to know if for example 732050 is the 50th bronco off the assembly line or the 5th... Over the years since I created this thread numerous early broncos have been discovered and I’m sure many more will be added in the future. The missing records that have created a mystery among 66 bronco enthusist is what makes it fun!

I will save the first two post for pics of the first few and update the order as new ones are discovered.

Lets see some of your other early 66s too!

Feel free to post up more recent/better pics or let me know if I cause any offense by reusing their pictures and I will update my post. Also let me know of any errors as well

I'll get you some up to date pics of mine for the thread. I put the original inserts back on and a 66 tailgate. Is Gaspig's 051 a U13, I thought it was a U15. Incorrect pic...I think.

I love 049. The best thing is, that all of the top 10 ran down the same line the first day of production back in Aug 65. So 10 of the first 252 Broncos mixed in with Econos, and trucks are still living and documented on this site. That's COOL!!

10-4 on that Baja Fresh. Rad. I love that too. Funny thing is O49 is still daily driven and still looks like that except it has hubcaps now. Hahah.
I posted a pic of it on my Facebook page about a month ago Baja Broncos Unlimited Even cooler is my daughter pointed it out while riding in her bike seat across a parking lot where it was parked...shot out her arm and said "Bronco!" She was 20 mos at the time...and I wasn't driving the bike...pretty cool to have her first Bronco spotting and shout out be to the 049.

Here's 732282 . Belonged to a local friend who got it from a family member in Iowa . It had a 1/2 top & doors on it & we did some "horse trading " & got it back to roadster condition . It has since been sold & last I knew was in Montrose Colorado ..

Well I suppose this roadster does still exist ..:p  It's U13FL773225 .
I found it in 1998 in a local wrecking yard & it's still sitting there . When I first saw it the door inserts were still in place but last time ( several years ago ) they were still there but broken up . A really "cool" :p plywood full top was on it but it's pretty much rotted away now . Take note ... theres other Bronco's all around it ... none for (reasonable price ) sale ..

Hey jspurl3, I sold that rig to berg bronco, he was going to do a resto on it, however the economy jumped him and I think it got abandoned. I'll have to defer to him on it's where-abouts???%)%)%)

Hey Chris, your memory serves you well... my 051 is not a U13 but a U15 with factory HD package. I'll try to dig up a pic for the thread.

Hmmm ... actually , no . My friend mainly collected the missing '66 parts & we "threw" some paint on it . Looked pretty but I make no claim to it .
