So I got bored this weekend and decided to re-do all mu front end bushings. After I was done I was going to go invest $54 in getting my front end alignment done, but youtube got me a little curious. I seen the videos about using some string, and some jack stands to do your own alignment. Needless to say about 45 minutes later I was done, the results are amazing, and it cost me nothing.
I just want everyone to know about the string method, apparently it's been used at the race track for a long time, and I'm glad I took the time out to do it.

Am I the last to know about this method on CB, am I pushing snake oil, or am I introducing a good tip???

Ive never used the string method. I use a tape measure mostly because I tend to have one around and dont have string around that much.. But Im sure the string method is just as good and it is a good tip for those that dont know about it.

Ive been using the string method for a while. Its always worked pretty well for me. I used it on my 06 Dodge 2500 after changing out all my steering and putting on a lift. When I got new tires the guy checked my alignment and said my toe was perfect.
