When I got it, it had been repainted. So I don't know if it had the Ranger stripes. Did yours have the ranger stripes and ranger logo on the glove box? Or did yours have the Explorer wood paneling on the doors?That’s got to be close to, or the latest production still titled as a 1972. Mine is as well and has the same interior. Did yours come with Ranger stripes?
My titled 72 is P89446. Don't have a Marti Report but tag says 10/72 production. Assuming a mid-Oct build based on VIN/Date shown above by sebvox.
So I have all of the original paperwork and documents that show the P as well as the correct VIN on the frame but the P is missing from the warranty tag. Interesting.

If i didnt have all the supporting documents it may be an issue but yes it is kind of cool.That’s actually cool as heck! Sure you could get a new plate issued by Marti Auto, but no way I’d change that one out.

yeah I just got lucky and stumbled across this one, I didnt really believe until I looked at it and found papers and parts that showed that it had been sitting since thenNice find, Brandy! Amazing that a truck sitting that long is still around.
