66 and 67 hardtop save or dont save?

I posted this on another group also but wanted to check here too.

I picked a hardtop up locally for free..

Turns out it is an early 66-67 hardtop-

I was going to cut the windows out and make a soft bikini top.

The front windshield lip is in excellent condition,
The liftgate is missing

One of the removable bows is missing

Very minimal rust on it…


Trying to get opinions if i should cut it or save it for a purist with a 66-67 that could swap me a later model top..

Any comments welcome

It's your top do what you want. If you have a later year bronco the windshield holes are different. I believe the hole pattern changed to allow for electric wipers.

If that's the one with the missing liftgate it's not worth any more than any other top in the same condition imo
