Looking to to just overhaul my 2000 explorer 5.0 with gt40p heads. Curios what everyone is upgrading and using for parts. I'm looking to stay low cost. I know I need new valve springs. What kit is everyone using? I'm on the fence with the cam. I feel tge stock one is fine but I'd like the exhuast sound with having one. And I don't have to by a programmer if I stay stock. Other then gaskets and maybe rings what else do I need? Will the oil pan and such work? I noticed the oil filter has an extension housing on it that I'm assuming I can remove if it doesn't clear the cross member
