Are any of you running an AX15 with twin sticks, and the J-style Dana20?

So far there isn't one for retail and I was wondering how anyone that has this setup is doing it?

Thanks!

Should be pretty dang close to the 3550 setup isn't it?

I think it's close from reading some old posts and talking to Advanced Adapters. But I think with the J-style shifter it changes things up.
I know I can't be the only one to have this combo. Hopefully someone will chime in.

Check with JB Custom Fab - http://jb-custom-fabrication.myshopify.com/

He makes twin sticks that work with the J-shift Dana and the NV 3550. Might be able to make a set that works with the AX15.

I've spoken with Jon at JB a couple times. He is planning on making one in the near future.

But in the meantime if it's something as easy as grinding a tab off of the twin sticks for a NV3550. I would just do that.

Looking for an AX-15 if anyone has one.
Can be FUBAR, or even an empty case (w/shifter tower) as it will not be installed.

Best case scenario is someone local that needs the shifter (AX-15-D20, "J" type), that can drop off their bronco at our shop for a couple of days.
According to AA the AX-15 swap is going to get more common since they are still being produced, and the NV3550 has not been produced for years.

Update:

I will have an AX-15 on the bench and mocked up by the end of next week.
We are going push the schedule back on some the the Jeep stuff we are doing and get this AX-15 thing done.

Gotta take care of the Bronco brothers (and sisters).

Merry Christmas,
Jon

OK, good news.
We have a solution for the AX-15 twin stick mounting issue.
We will be sending a pre-production prototype to be test fit.

We need to know what people are doing for the AX-15 shifter, to determine if the twin-stick shifters need any different bends to avoid interference.

Note: due to the geometry required for the "J" type to operate, the clocking position needs to be in the center hole of the clocking ring (stock clocking).

I Just wanted to follow up with this thread, and say that Jon fabricated the Twin Sticks for the AX15 w/ J-style and they are bad ass!! I couldn't be happier. Working with Jon to get these twin sticks made was an absolute pleasure. Everything fits perfect and no clearance issues!

Thank you!
