Body alignment

Is it possible for a bronco body to be misaligned on the frame?
In other words, can it be offset to one side or the other?
Or does the design of the body mounts prevent this.

It should be very close left to right unless something has been bent at some point in its history. There is a bit of play at each mounting point, but it is very minimal (1/8" maybe.) You can raise or lower various mounting locations with shims but that moves certain portions of the body up and down and affects various gaps (doors, fenders, etc). PLease provide more details of what you are dealing with.
