Can a stock gas pedal be flipped?

I know its not centered on the stem but before I pull it out can the petal be flipped around on the stem to be closer to the floor?

Yep, I ran mine upside down for several years because I didn't have a reference to look at when I replaced the pedal. Didn't notice it until I looked closer at my other Bronco.

I took it apart and flippin it is the thing to do for me. Any idea where to get some new lil bushings? I didnt destroy em but they pretty worn out

I forgot em on my ace trip today and didnt even look but yeap that will be my fist stop
