I got the extreme custom fab chevy tie rod setup. Out of the box, the boot on the draglink end which goes to the pitman arm was torn. I asked ECF about the replacement boot part number and they only gave me the rod end part number. I went to three parts stores and none could find the right thing, autozone, car quest, and o'reily's. The boot I need has the springs on it.

i'd rather find it locally and know what to get in the future. I thought this would be a common replacement item since boots tear half the time you use a pickle fork to remove a rod end.

I get that, but you also paid for new, good parts.

I know some of the urethane mfg's make dust boots for TRE's.

Napa auto was only local place that had the rubber dust boot in stock. But It didn't come with a spring.
