So I just found out the front diff in my bronco has a 44 center section. It’s kind of irritating because I bought a Dana 30 ring and pinion, a trutrack posi and a rebuild kit and opened and mounted everything I could, only to find it doesn’t fit. Numbers stamped on tube are 990C4, 603427 7, I guess I should be happy I have a Dana 44 but now have a bunch of new Dana 30 parts.

curious to see year as well

Also curious to see what the Marti report calls out, if anything, on the '69 & '70 that have been found to have the unicorn 44s.

I bought these Diffs after the fact because mine came with full width front and rear from a 79.
