Going to check one out today the seller says is from a 1998 4x4 Explorer. How can I positively ID it and what other parts should I see if he has for it?

Thanks

Call Braman engineering. They will tell you. I know that one of the tell tail signs the pin count and color of a connector housing, but how many pins and what color of what connection I forgot.

Black plugin on the passenger side of transmission behind the heat shield is the one you want not the white one is what they told me
