Fall project was to weld up holes, patch, and paint. Used TCP Global Transport Blue ss Urethane, HOK kd3000 primer and new seam sealer on the seams (fusor two part). Welded old sport trim holes, flare holes from 2 sets of flares, random other holes, spare tire rack holes, and patch sheet metal where some PO cut out notches for dual exhaust just in front of rear tires and front corners where the fender/grill was cut to fit 35's. Used a HF hvlp. First pic is before, was a metallic base/ clear with a lot of the clear peeling. Sanded it down, welded, primed and painted. Overall Im super happy! Happy holidays!

Nice work zimm,I did this last spring to mine, this winter I will be working on the doors and tailgate, did you find it advantageous to hang the doors upside down,it looks like it may be easier to paint them that way?

Thanks! This is the first time i painted a truck, I hung the doors upside down because there were the drain slots in the bottom of the door and it was convenient to hang them from there using welding wire. It was easy to paint, I'm sure there's a better way but this worked for me.
