They started a vintage class this year as well. Unfortunately, it's only 1 class for all vintage vehicles, but you can still race in the legendary Mint!

Thanks for digging this up. Brought back a lot of memories. I went to school with Denny Sellecks and Zorns kids. Used to hang out in the garage at the Sellecks and watch them work on their bugs. In fact, it was Denny and some of his buddies who took me on my first real off road ride.

"The Off Road Racer" is an interesting read and a good addition to any serious racing enthusiast's library. Copies show up from time to time.

In the photo on the left that Dave posted, Al Unser is inside Big Oly (in pre Big Oly days when it was known as Crazy Colt and had Johnny Lightning sponsorship). That's Parnelli behind Del Webb and Mel Larson.

Thanks KB. The book is a good one, as Todd mentioned. Two of the Broncos pictured in that article down at the bottom are still in existence today!
