Upper door weather stripping

Got a buddy complaining about air noise coming from door. I looked at his weather stripping and think he put them on wrong backwards and on wrong side? Which one is right?

The first pic does look kind of funny.
They supposedly only go on one way because the front edge is angled and the rear is basically a 90 degree corner.

The front piece along the windshield is the one that should have the double-pleat style, whereas the top and rear bits only need to be smooth. The front gets squeezed as the door hinges inward on the seal.

So the cream & blue one looks correct, while the green one looks wonky.
Maybe he got two right sides and just made it work on the left? Or are they both wonked up?
