Where are you setting your timing degrees on a 170 I-6?

What are you guys setting your timing at on the 170 Stock I-6 Motors?

Never had one but the former owner of my shop manual also has 6 degrees written on the inside cover for his. I run as much as they will take without pinging, depends a lot on the altitude you live at. In Montana I run 4-6 degrees more then specs on my 302
