I've got a stable mate for my 66 eyebrow half cab. I bought Brian Ivey's 66 eyebrow roadster. Very low miles and all original. It belonged to Brian's dad and and was the 2nd owner. Brian tried to get it running but couldn't, and it has set up in the garage for a little over 6 years. before that Brian said his dad parked it in the barn 20 years before that because it quit running.
It is original Springtime yellow but his dad painted it green for hunting. I knew within 10 feet I was going to own another bronco...the one that has been on my bucket list to own. (A yellow uncut roadster.) It was pretty much rust free and all original. After I bought it, he dug out 3 of the original hubcaps. The only thing is it has most of the convertible frame as I could tell, but no top and doors. It is basically all original except for the wagon wheels, tires and maybe front shocks. I plan on getting this one running and bring to SC in April. Here are the pictures Brian had sent me last week.

you gonna try and sand down to the yellow? thats my all-time favorite color.

I'm going to take my time with it and try to get down to the original paint. My best friend is a paint guy, so maybe he can advise me on how to do it the best.
I was able to scratch down to the yellow with my fingernail.

Wow, I don't recall anyone trying to sand down to original paint before with anything. Anxious to see your results.

I wasn't going to say anything till I get the paint off the vin tag. But from the number I see
says FL751049 my half cab is FL751048 they both have DSO of 21 I bought both in The Atlanta area both have 457 rears. If that number does come out to be true...that is awesome!!! I knew when I thought what is was, I wasn't going to let this one go by

Does anyone else own 2 consecutive numbers?

Wow if that wasn't meant to be then I don't know what is!!!
Glad you got it :) I've not come across any consecutive vin owners.

All the 66 parts on there still?

Just about, its missing one front hubcap 4 KH wheels and a rearview mirror.
Brian thinks he's got a box of some more stuff and will be looking. Finding a stock convertible top in good shape will be impossible
, but I would have thought finding consecutive numbers would have been too

Nice fine! It looked pretty good in the ad on craigslist but even better now with more pictures! It is pretty cool that you have 2 VINs in a row you might want to play the lottery!

Think he sorta just won it with the consecutive VINs;D
Very neat score, congrats - bet those two have some catching up to do since they last saw each other!
