Will a power brake booster/master cylinder/prop valve assy clear the top of a '66 - '72 inner fender, or is the '73 - '77 inner fender required for clearance?

The aftermarket kits offered by various vendors will clear the early fenders.

...And the factory 76-77 booster and bracket will NOT clear.
Some of the older kits were exact clones of the factory bracket, and will also not clear.

But the new kit worked just fine on my 1970 with no modifications.

What vendor’s kit did you use?

I bought the bracket, booster and master cylinder as a kit from northeast classic. It clears my 66 inner fender.

More kits that will fit than you can shake a stick at! All will fit and are in stock at this time. Depending on tire size I would point you in the direction of one of the Hydroboost systems.

Stock 66 only need to also consider additional parts: Hard lines, brake light switch. DM for tech help if needed.

If that picture in your profile is accurate, stop looking at vacuum booster and start looking at hydroboost.
Lot of people have upgraded from a vacuum booster to a hydroboost. Don't know anyone who took off a hydroboost once they got one.
