Windshield to upper door weatherstripping

I am looking to install something along the windshied. I only use a soft top so I dont to buy the entire piece just to use a smal section and would rather not use the home stuff.

I was thinking something from a newer car metal core that would press over the tab on the windshield.

Anyone try this? what did you use?

I got the seal from WH. Its another great product they offer. Item #9004

It just hooks on. No glue or clips. Only other thing to do is get the whole upper set and cut that piece out.

What gap you refering too? I dont have a gap anyware.
