Good luck. Might try corral.net, or the combo @nvrstuk is running (I think) which is this plus this. And what I would probably have on my 408 if I hadn't gotten one of the last R combos. As a bonus, they are in stock.
Yeah I’ve been looking at the Super Vic and elbow setup like Brian runs, but I’m not sure my 408 is enough engine for that. I run a ported GT40 lower and tubular upper now, but I’m sure it’s killing the top end a bit even though it makes killer torque down low.

Brian has waaayy more experience than I do but I'm gonna guess based on the Mustang crowd's experiences that the Super Vic is a better solution than what you have now. Plus, your existing lower/upper combo will likely sell for so much that it will mostly, if not fully, subsidize the Edelbrock parts. Lol... Worth noting is that my R intake barely clears my Wild Horses highlander hood with a 1-3/8" (I added some washers) body lift.

Yeah I know he said he ran that same intake on his 418 with no loss of low end so I might start buying parts to make it work. The only problem with selling my GT40 setup is that eBay is inundated with them right now. Oh and I have the same hood Brian runs so I’m sure I’ll have plenty of clearance.

Would you want 22-2500 for your setup?

That’s pretty much what they’re going for right now. My lower is ported and polished and is actually a 1992 Ford Performance catalog intake rather than a 93-95 Lightning intake. A bit more rare. I have another Lightning lower and this one is way more refined. The upper is a genuine Lightning and not a Chinese knockoff. I port matched it to a 75mm throttle body too. This setup kicked ass on my 351W. It’s just too small for my 408W. I wouldn’t be able to part with it until I find a bigger intake though.

Hey, fellow Yakima and bronco guy here, I also have a foxbody mustang, that I would love a tubular intake for, how much do you want for it, are you the one selling the whole lightning engine on fb marketplace right now?

Hey welcome to the forum. There’s a few of us bronco guys around this area. That’s not me selling the Lightning engine. And I’d have to wait to sell the intake until I find something more suitable for my 408.

Yeah I’ve seen quite a few around town, my dad used to run around with all the bronco guys back in high school. And I totally understand, if you ever do want to get rid of it I’d be interested.

Joe? Hell I’ve known him since high school. Just talked to him a few months ago at his work.

I finally clicked on your links Lars to see what I'm running :) DANG, I paid just over half that for my intake and the elbow was $99. I remember the sales lady at Summit telling me they didn't have one in OH or Reno and I was panicking as the RdUp was in 10 days. She said they had a "pretty good rate" on overnight shipping. I thought it would be close to $60 but when she said 20 smackers I quickly pony'd up the $20 for the elbow to be overnighted from S. Carolina from Summit in ONE day.

How can they do that? It costs me $20 for a 4"x4"x4" box 50 miles to Yakima!

Still looking for at least a Victor EFI upper or TFS-R lower. I have a line on the other parts.
