I have a 77 sport, three on the tree, bought a hurst floor shifter used.... and got shorted this part from the seller. (#2) LEG BRACKET

Can I get this part from hurst or somewhere else?

You could try Hurst of Duff (I think Hurst makes theirs as well?)

Or, fabricate one. It does not appear to be a difficult part to make something that will work.

UPDATED QUESTION......

well i ended up fabricating this part(#2).......got shifter installed...NOW......i discover that the stock rods..(part #20 and #22 on the above diagram) are different than what appears to come with the kit.

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM OR DENY THAT YOU CANT USE THE STOCK RODS?
