• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I have a Cold Duck duel transfer case unit unused. Mate it to your exiting D20. I have been running this type of unit for years without trouble in my trail rig. To use this unit the body will need to have at least a 1" lift, the drivelines need to be longer in the front and shorter in the rear by 6 3/4". These units will double down your gear ratio.

Ok, school me a little.. Does the CD adapter come with a transfer case? If so, would you split it apart.. all I need is the adapter.. and shipping to TX would suck for a transfer case :) If you have any pics send them to me and I will post them up even if I can't get it from you I will try and help you out...

I'll speak for Roadtoad, I'm his son and also run the cold duck on my bronco.
Adapter is included and already attached to the CD. Process of installation so you will know. Split current tranny adapter and Dana 20. Bolt on CD to the adapter, bolt on Dana 20 to CD, modify cross member (minor), Extend rear dana 20 shift bars to reach rear case, then either go with air ram shifter or cable shifter for CD. Lengthen front driveline and shorten rear. Fill with fluid and enjoy a regular low of 2.46 or go extreme with 6.05 double LOW! I call it LOW LOW.

This unit has the adapter that attaches both of the tranfer cases together. The CD unit is only about40-45 lbs since it only the low range half on the case. Ship to Texas would only be about $55.00 UPS ground.

I do have pictures of mine in my bronco. I can email them.
