WTF? I have no idea what this refers to....Starting a plane? It looks like he has the rope wrapped around the nose cone of the engine.

The response from Ford is pretty cool though.

Any Ideas?? Click thumbnail for a bigger photo.

......... true utility ..... just letting you know you can put the full size pics directly in the post by copying & pasting the IMG code provided on the photo bucket page....... if you want to put pics you find on the web directly to the post >> right click directly on the pic , then select properties ,then copy & paste the IRL address to the post , then add

Fantastic shot of the Bronco, Wes. That's a very rare image of the Stove with Loomis/Wright.

Checked out the various photos on that guy's site. I'm guessing he did the original K Bar S shots in his gallery too? I'd love to have copies of his stuff but I don't like his prices :-(.

Holy Crap, I did not even look at his photos. Wow...I am a photographer and I know that you have to charge money for your photos otherwise you do not eat, but wow...

I like the conway twitty picture, he is the first country singer I ever heard growing up. It was "don't call him a cowboy". I still remember riding around in my grandad's old ford truck(1972 stepside) listening to that song.

Here is another series of photos that I came across. Make sure to read the notes for each photo.

I really enjoy the little things. Like the early Bestop with the small windows. The big CB whip antennas (that takes me back!), the Armstrong Tru-Tracs back in post 22(I think?) and so many other little things that make looking at old photos bring a smile to your face.

Thanks everybody.

Lot of shiny red Broncos running round that stadium. When was that taken, and at what event?

>>> I found this link to some more pics of when elvis returned to the dome in 1974....http://www.geocities.com/gorgeousguta/dome74.htm ... pic below from the link read above it >> "The KING proudly enters the HOUSTON ASTRODOME on Sunday, March 3, 1974, in a bright red jeep" & under another pic on that page it says >> "Kathy Westmoreland remembers: "That jeep leaping forward in a burst of speed, with ELVIS hanging on firmly with his left hand, waving with his right, his hair blowing in different directions, and his body bouncing to-and-fro as the vehicle bounced over the rugged, dirt radio floor."
