To my knowledge no one has. This question has been asked before here on cb.com.

Most say its cheaper and easier to just buy an old tub and fix a few small spots. I though am like you and would love to see someone take this on and report the results.

I am not sure but I think all the parts in that it are from Dynacorn. I figured thats why they are working on putting out a complete assembled body.

I dunno though. I would love to hear others chime in on this.

Happy Bronco'ing !

I would like to put one together, but I don't need it, someone by it and I'll assemble it for you and then I'll provide feedback.;)

I sold some parts to a guy in New Jersey a few years back who did the same thing for a couple of Ford dealerships. He was a retired NJ State Police helicopter pilot. Not that one has anything to do with the other, but he had a jig made up and would put them together using all the available aftermarket parts. He probably still lurks around on the board. Don't know his user name, but I know he found my parts for sale on this site.

Also saw a guy recently on fleebay selling a complete tub using aftermarket sheetmeat for around $7000. Has anyone tallied up what it would cost to buy the parts and stitch one together?

I've done my share of restos on Toyotas and this guy does a similar kit with the FJ40 tub. Here's the link http://toyotona.com/. I've seen these in person and they are better quality than original sheetmetal. He puts in all the OEM ribs/flaring and uses heavier gauge steel. Last time I inquired it was $6k to have one shipped to the east coast which is a hell of a deal considering the quality of work. I never asked him about fabbing an EB tub, but it would be well worth it considering the quality of work.

If I thought you were serious I'd buy one and get it shipped to you. Only question is how do I know if I'd get a useable body afterwards? I see from some of your posts you seem to have some skills, but still some concerns on my end!!!!

I thought Jeff's built one for one of Ted's trucks, or at least that was the rumor I heard.

The JBG tub kits far predate dynacorn stuff I dont even think dynacorn has finished a complete body yet.
last I seem to recall JBG was asking around $4500 for there body kit not including shipping. So $7K for a assembled one wouldnt be bad I'm sure it would take at least 50 hours to assemble correctly and at a low labor rate of $40 it would be a steal.
If dynacorn ever comes out with theres I'm sure the price is going to be closer to $15K like the mustang bodies.
I think the best bet would be to at least have a example bronco body to get needed measurements off of. Probably wouldnt be to hard for most of us that have at least one bronco in decent shape. It all would just come down to time and skills.
