Hey guys,

Looking at building a bumper for my trailer project. Because of the poorer departure angle of having used the truck box I think i'm going to cut the bottom of the rear quarters off flush with the bottom of the tailgate and then run the bumper around to the back of the wheel well.

I know lots of guys have done this on their rigs, let me see what you conjured up!!

WOW!! That is one HONKIN tire!...is it a 40 or what!?;D

Yep. 39.5 irok. Had to install that bumper it had on another truck after the old spindle tire carrier broke. Than found out the previous owner usually ran without it because its got one hell of a bind spot with no mirrors! I put 4" spot mirrors on the top corner of the cage and all is good.
