I just personally think its kind of funny how someone with 10 posts gets on there-- bashes a vendor and then complains about a "kit" that is sold. I don't have one of the VA or BC kits but I do know that if I do need a/c-- if I want it to look like a SEMA show install I am going to have to ditch about everything minus the brackets and such-- as a matter of fact I would probably just buy all the ducting and the things I simply cant produce. This is just typical rookie complaining if you ask me. I build bumpers, shock hoops, long radius arms and a variety of other parts. At this point I don't think anyone has had an issue with anything I have ever built fitting but its not impossible with the terrible initial build quality of the EB-- and it was terrible! So my suggestion is to buy the parts knowing you are going to need to tweak things and then the final 15% is just custom fitting/modifications. If all you have is a $55 Craftsman Fathers Day Special 115 piece tool kit I suggest you buy some tools, a case of beer, some patience and understand this isn't a brand new Jeep JK-- just an inside tip-- most of that stuff doesn't fit either!

I think you are out of line. I am not sure what the number of post has to do with anything. If you are indicating the number of post represents your knowledge or mechanical ability again I think you are way off base. As far as kits, it is wrong for a manufacture to represent a product as a bolt on kit and omit to tell a purchaser that there is a considerable amount of engineering and hundreds needed to complete the kit OHHH and you will need to source the parts on our own. Again I am not saying BCB did or said anything (not my fight).

This forum is the exact place where people with one post or a million post should be able to share the good and bad as it relates to broncos and bronco vendors and not be judge because someone thinks they are handy with a torch..

Well, I've installed VA's "Perfect Fit" A/C systems three times now; EVERY single one took 30+ hours, EVERY single one was missing parts, and EVERY single one took significant "engineering" to make it fit - in short, zero for three were "perfect fit"! If you go to ANY online car forum and type in "Vintage Air" you'll find problems; not blaming VA, I just don't think there IS such a thing as putting aftermarket AC on a vehicle without quite the degree of trial & error...

My advice is to put it aside, drink a cocktail or three, and revisit tomorrow - "Better listen to him Flounder, he's pre-med...";D
