Placed an order last week for new tires for my Superduty tow rig (Bronco related as this rig is getting me to the SC). Discount Tires Direct gave me a pretty good deal- matched the best price I could find, shipped for free. Tires and wheels came in less than 7 days, mounted and balanced. Even shipped via UPS!!

Only issue is that my lug nuts were the wrong size... 14x1.5 instead of the 14x2... Damn metric lugs. Placed a call to DTD and they are shipping me another set of lugs, overnight on their dime!! If the lugs show up tomorrow, they will have a repeat customer just for great service!!

And since everyone likes pictures... 35x12.5x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers on 17x9 XD Addicts

Thinking I should have gone with 37s, but the truck only has 4" lift.

I looked at Toyo MTs. I run those on my '75 Bronco, but they were way to high in the 35" size. The 37s on 15s on my Bronco were cheaper than 35s on a 17" wheel.

Looks great. I love those wheels.

Is that through discount tire too? Meaning you can go to their stores for rotation and balancing? Didn't know they had an online ship to home option.

They are the same as discount tire... But the nearest discount tire is over 2 hours away. This was shipped for the same price I would pay in the store. If the store has what your looking for in stock, you may be able to haggle a little more.

I received several follow up phone calls from them apologizing for their error and confirming that the new lugs were shipping overnight. Seemingly great service so far!

Update- I have already received a shipping notice for overnight via UPS. Impressed!

That's a good lookin tire/wheel combo. I think the 37 would fit with that lift but if you tow with it, the 35" will be much better.

I do tow... It's about the only driving I do with the truck. The truck has been regeared to 4.88s many years ago. With the V10, it has a ton of power, I could have turned the 37s and looking back would have pulled the trigger on those. Of course the price likely would have been much higher.

It's done and the lugs are scheduled to arrive after lunch. Will post pics of them installed. Can't say enough at the great service I have had.

I've been buying all of my tires from the same people for a couple of years and haven't had anything but good luck.No tax or shipping is always nice.

Looks good and giving me ideas for the Excursion! What is on the F250 now, stock rims?

Pete, been running Eagle alloy aluminum wheels-

on 35" BFG ATs.

Those wheels are tough to keep clean and all of a sudden developed a crack... I also can't stand the ATs when compared to MT type tires.

Received the right lugs around 5:30 this evening... After waiting all day.

After my sons ball game, I got them bolted on. Confirmed my desire for the 37s, but I am happy with it overall. Only got one quick pic before it got dark. Will get a better one tomorrow.

All in all, DTD will have my business in the future!
