I have a '73 Ranger. The FORD letters on the grille are still there. Only one has the red insert remaining. Can I get inserts anyplace or do i need the entire letters to replace? Thanks in advance.

I just did mine a week ago.

I removed the letters and mounted them in some scrap wood I had so they'd lay flat. Then I bought some Ford Cardinal Red touch up paint from Autozone. The tiny brush that was included was perfect. I did two coats.

So I'm a little different. I went to the hobby shop and rather than use paint, I picked up one of those kits to make stained glass. You know, the kind that come with plastic beads that you put into a frame, bake it in the oven and the beads melt into the frame.

Obviously, I chucked the frame, filled the FORD letters with the beads and baked them as per the kit's directions. Best part is you can pick the color of plastic to use.

I did these about 15 years ago in white and they have yellowed a bit but still look presentable.

What a great picture! Is that a calendar contender?

It should be. Looks great by itself and with the background.

On the nice ones, I'm always looking at bumper and panel fit. Doesn't get much better than this. Dang wipers though! ;D

Way cool idea. Love the roof rack. Where'd you get that?

Thanks! The rack is a wilderness trails rack by Garvin. I bought it about 14-15 years ago, maybe longer. They make mostly Heep stuff now but maybe they are still available.

Thanks Gentlemen! I actually never ever thought about submitting anything. I appreciate the compliment!
