Thanks for the info. I like the way they exit. Mine are currently straight out the back and that has always caused problems with fumes when more than one window was down or with the lift gate. I'm planning to run mine out behind the tires this time. I am replacing my 30 years old 24 inch glasspacks with new ones. Is there much of a difference in the sound with the pipe exiting behind tires instead of out the back? In other words, will the same set up be louder to the driver/passenger depending on where the pipe exits?

I had a healthy 351 in my first bronco. I ran the k bar s headers with a single Flowmaster. It was 2 in 1 out. The most amazing sounding exhaust I've ever heard.

My '74 has a stock 302. The PO installed a dual exhaust with H pipe. When it was time to replace the exhaust, I had 2-1/2" single exhaust installed with a Dynomax ultra flow muffler. The muffler tucks up nice. It looks stock it sounds perfect, to me. A nice idle growl, not loud and I can have a conversation while driving.

The single exhaust also improved my low end torque.
