Has anyone one here ordered one? Just received mine had no idea it came with no glass, and a good bit of fabrication and zero instructions. What options did you guys go with?

I have been looking at these. They definitely don't come with glass, rubber, hardware, etc. Somewhat misleading I guess based on the description but any new top, fiberglass or metal I've looked at didn't include that stuff either.

I am curious about the fabrication aspect you mentioned though.

Nothing to major just drilling holes but I didn’t expect to have to do it, thought it would be plug and play. Yes no where on the site says anything about you providing the glass etc. I would have paid more to include it.

I saw one at a bronco event and asked about the windows. I may be wrong, but I don't believe you can use traditional hard top windows and rubber gaskets as the fiberglass is too thick. So don't go out and order those before confirming.

It will probably work out cheaper, but you will have to have the window glass cut and glued in like a modern vehicle after paint.

Thank you I was just looking at glass on some of the bronco sites so I will hold off.

If you don’t want to mess with it. I have a very nice hard top I would sell and I am not far from you.

I bought one in November and we're installing it now. I'm hoping to have glass cut and glued in just because it's much easier than fighting with installing the factory glass and window seals that so often eventually leak. I have the glass from another Bronco but didn't buy new seals because I'm planning to do the "new" method. As mentioned in this thread, the only fabrication is drilling holes. The placement and assembly is a two person job, at least in my opinion.

I had a Kentrol hardtop on another Bronco and this one from Bronco Design is much better quality. I'm installing it on a Bronco Design tub, mixed with steel doors, hood and fenders. Again, the quality is there and Corey and Rod Sunday are as upstanding as any Bronco guys you'll ever meet. If you have questions, call Corey and talk to him.

Sent you a PM regarding your hard top. If the OP isn't interested in it then I would be.

Hey Jeff!

What you are referring to is the way the glass use to have to be installed in our half cab with the mounting lip being really thick. That has changed as well. So now all of our tops will work with factory glass and factory style rubber gaskets to hold them in. The half cab still requires sticky backed D cell rubber for the upper door seals.

The full top has always been able to work with factory size glass and seals!

Hi Heath,

I am sorry you were not made aware of this. We do not carry the glass or hardware. We simply sell the products that we manufacture and leave the rest of the parts up to the Bronco parts houses like Duffs, Wild Horses, Graveyard, Toms, etc. I will email you the tips I gave you over the phone a couple weeks ago when your top shipped. Sorry for any confusion you may have gotten from us.

I have added a blurb to the website stating that the tops do not come with glass or hardware. Thank you for bringing that to my attention! Let me know if you have any other questions!

I used the OEM style door rubbers on my Bronco design top. I just glued them in place. Works perfect

Anyone know how to contact Greg? I sent a PM a couple days ago in regard to his top as I was interested in it if the OP wasn't. I'm assuming he hasn't checked his pm's

Good to know glass fits. Looking to put my order in in the spring to have it before the fall cover-up and I'd like to keep all my glass and chrome.

Here are a couple pictures of the top with the stock glass and seals installed! The full tops generally have around a 4-8 week lead time.
