Gkelley very nice ! I’m doing ‘66 U13 so understand parts issues. Marti has Ford correct hoses, etc. And I did mod Merc wheel covers to keep my refurbished originals in safe ! 😂 Shoot me PM with email so don’t further highjack thread.

And welcome Jeremy. I agree on suggestion to drive and repair. Trust me, disassembly is fun but gets very slow once laying in garage piles. Don’t ask how I know !

Good evening,

Made a few posts already but figured I'd start over and make an official post. I am brand new here. Just picked up a '73 with a 302, Dana 44, Automatic and power steering.

Itching to get started! I was going to take the body off and start a full blown restoration however it runs (not well, but runs) so i figure I am going to get it mechanically sound and street worthy and enjoy it for a bit while I work on the body stuff over time.

Just wanted to take a moment to say hello and thank everyone in advance for any/all advice/help.

Thanks, Jeremy

Welcome to the forum, best on the internet. Yes drive it and figure out the mechanical. Body off is time consuming and costly.

Nice! Good plan to get it street worthy and enjoy it for a while! Looks like it might be an early Ranger package in a great original color - light blue.

We recently restored our very, very early 1966 to original condition. We thought we would make its existence known. VIN #U15FL732027

Actually you're already a little "famous" on this site - see this thread: Earliest Bronco Known to Exist

You should start another thread detailing your Bronco. Awesome restoration! Hope you can bring it to the LEBC Round Up in April. I'd love to get a good look at it.
