• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Public service, I hope this is ok.

I tried to buy this Bronco and failed. Seller was representing it as "rust free survivor". He just listed it on ebay with better pictures. The floors appear too good to be true because they are. They are not repaired properly and are missing the sheetmetal features from original. I confronted the seller and he said he would update his add.

Nothing wrong with selling a Bronco with repaired floors, but I think its wrong to advertise as "rust free survivor" as that is misleading at best.

auction ended 8 mins ago???

Well good on him! Maybe he's gonna relist it more accurately! I hate seeing people get deceived especially newbies because it ruins their first Bronco experience!

I'm making my money working on, building , and flipping Bronco's and I try to go out of my way to be honest. I'm proud to be unaware of anyone that feels like I cheated them!

It's still on craigslist and facebook marketplace here locally. Still marketing it as a rust free survivor.

Outside of a quick paint makeover, this is just another old Bronco. It looks good in a picture but in person it is far from restored. It had the floors out when I saw it and looked solid other than that but just looked old and tired. I am not bashing the seller at all but just validating that the floors have been replaced.

As a mid year Corvette fan, the NCRS can not be beat for judging their cars. Little to nothing is left in question on the vehicle. Check out the details of the definitions of "Survivor." Regarding Bronco's, I'll bet most "Survivors" would not make Bronze ;D It's getting to the point now, the Bronco world needs a "Black Book" like Vette folks use.

There are 3 categories of Survivor:
50% = Bronze
66% = Silver
80% = Gold

After I called him out he explained that the floors had "little patches" not from rust but from dents he said. Anyone that knows Bronco's I think knows how far fetched that sounds! To damage the floors on both sides without ruining the rockers and other structures would be some real bad luck! lol! Rust repairs I bet, which is fine just don't hide the truth.
