How would you go about titling properly? You show your valid title to someone and they stamp the frame for you? I am sure there has been a thread about this. But just curious how that would work?

Friend of mine in Tucson had a reproduction frame for a hot rod and stamp the Vin number in the frame with a 32 Arizona title and it wouldn’t pass inspection got real picky said you can’t do that

Ask your state, some allow replacement to be stamped others may provide a new VIN and essentially allow a kit car to be built.

Does WH provide a certificate of origin in case you want to go apply for a new build title?

Pretty awesome!

I would cut the frame vin off the original frame and put it on the new frame.

I am lucky and my state is lazy, zero chance anyone is going to crawl under my bronco.

I was shocked when I went through VIN inspection in NV that they knew exactly what to look for, where to look, etc. Shocked and impressed.

The company that built my Bronco (Highline Classics) masks off the VIN before powdercoating the frame which saved a lot of hassle of them having to try to read a VIN that has been PCed over.

Again, check with your state. Delaware vehicle theft division allowed me to stamp VINs on the frames on two of mine. If you're not doing it for profit or for criminal intent, it be pretty hard to figure that somebody's going to be in real trouble for fixing their own truck.

Interesting. I wonder how you could title the truck with just building like a kit car.

No shock mounts?

Factory style shock mounts are included with the frame. They are loose. If I were building a frame up I would want different mounts unless "stock" was what I was going for. This way you don't have to start by grinding into your new frame to remove stuff you might be changing. We were going for versatility but keeping close to stock.

In FL you can apply for a VIN with "Assembled from Parts" or "Hot Rod" designation.

Great to have another option for Early bronco Frames.
