Hi friends
I need a little advice on Orange colors.
I am looking for a burnt but Bright version of Orange going More to orange than to Bronze or Copper.

Being here in Iceland I don't have much chooses on brands. So a Color Code would be highly appreciated.

Thank's

Here's mine. It was done in 2006, but best I can tell here's what the sticker on my paint can says:

2004 code is 748240K Has Napa and Martin Seymor paints written on the can.

May say Ford code: GW It's a Dupont Orange Crush.

Hopefully you can piece all of that info. together. The sticker is barely legible and in no particular order.

Original '76 color, "Copper", color code "H" on my '76 Explorer. The paint and stripes are original.

Mine is Daytona Sunset Orange, it is a GM Corvette color, it does change color depending on the light. Same camera, different light. I can get the paint code if you like it.

My 73 is Tangelo Pearl with a parchment color top and flairs. This combo compliments itself well. Pics found in my garage.

Fordfan. That is a thing of beauty . Nice lookin ride. I luv it.

Thank you sir. It's the first one for me. I've had it 30 years and I rode in it probably 10 years before that!... So it was pretty new then. Here's a picture back in the 'day'...

I bought a new F150 4x4 in 1977 that was what I called " Burnt Orange " , for that model year Ford called it Medium Copper, sorry I don't remember the paint code, wish I could e more help. Good Luck. BTW, while I don't remember exactly where in Iceland he was, my dad spent some time there many years ago. My dad was a US Navy SeaBee.

Sunset Orange Metallic , I believe it is a GM color. Avalanches for sure.
Also check for Sunburst Orange Metallic
Ford used it also, years back, probably a different name. Maybe on an Explorer?

I'll see if I can find more pics of this Bronco. Find the right one and youll not use another color.

May the builder, Bill, RIP.
