It's a Game Rob, stay strong...
I think of it as a war! Right now, we're really only about $200 apart and I'd agree to their current number. But yesterday, they started pulling shit with me about repairing a few minor warranty items saying they are selling the car as-is because they are losing money on the deal already, and every thing works. Well, when the rear defroster wire is hanging disconnected from the window, the rear defroster don't work and as I pointed out to them, thats a "bumper to bumper" warranty issue they can get from Ford for repairing, the entire 29 cents! That pisses me off that they are refusing to correct minor warranty covered items.

That would smoke my brisket as well. I guess I got real lucky with my dealer. Bought a 2011 super duty F350 with a 6.7 from them in 2020, only had 39k on the clock. Super clean, I am embarrassed about what I paid for it honestly. I put an extended warrantee on it through the dealer. Drove it home, two days later I had my first opportunity to turn on the headlights, no workey. They took care of it no questions even though it was out of warrantee.

They were easy to deal with on the Bronco when I went back to them in December to buy it.

You got to play the game. I am in the process of getting a new F250 Service body truck for work right now. Got the two biggest Ford dealers working against each other. Get a price from one then go to the other than back again. Its a pain in the ass but it is what it is. I do it with all my work trucks since they tend to not be emergency or emotional purchases, just trying to get a good deal on the truck we need. My best friend has been in car sales for over 20 years, everything from new to used, Kia, Honda, Chevy, and Ford. He has been a salesman, sales manager, Finance manager, and general manager. He is a great guy but he admits the sales thing is a game of who can hold out the longest. But most dealers do have a line they will not drop past. Used car only dealers are the most shifty, the bigger dealers tend to be more cut and dry.

Good luck and stay at it with them. I will say that there are some smoking good deals on 2024 left overs right now on both on F250s and Broncos! If you want to go down the new car road.

Where are the smoking deals, state/city. Ford's site is worthless for searching more than 300 miles froma specific zipcode. Tell me where to search and I'll check for a 2024. I'd rather buy a new 2024 if I can find a Wildtrak, looking for the lux package plus leather seats.

Most of the deals are on left over 2024 trucks and broncos. I checked the big local Ford dealer (Preston Ford) and they only have two Wildtracks left on the lot both Velocity Blue the one has a sticker of $68,535 and the published price they are showing is $56,587. And that is before you make a deal. That less than I paid for my SAS Badlands. But unfortunately that is about as far away from you as you can get. Dealer is located in Preston, MD.

Well I missed the end of the month due to a work emergency, and lost out on the deal.

Looking at a 2024 now. Anybody close to Bessemer, Alabama?

Town and Country Ford I’m guessing? If you end up finding one near Huntsville I can help, Woody Anderson, Lynn Layton, and McClary Ford are close to me.
