We’re going (can register later this week).
Who else will join in the chaos?

Um Sir. That says "JEEP" safari, not totally bad ass old school BRONCO SAFARI!

However, given your screen name there just might still be hope for you. Do you still have a CJ?

On Edit: Just saw your post in another thread. Nice Loredo!

It is the largest offroad event in the country. I haven't been since 2008 when I downsized my offroad fabrication business, prior to that I went every year from 2000 to participate in the vendor show. The rides get too large and way slow, I always got their schedule, made sure I was ahead of them or not meeting them. That allowed us to be back to town and having dinner by 3pm, that allowed us to actually get a table and eat, then spend the rest of the day watching the parade LOL. I don't miss it. Still go to Moab regularly, looking like I will be blessed with 3 trips this year.

It is chaotic, for sure. You just have to have the mindset going in that there will be a ton of yahoos there.
Started going to the EJS back when you could still drive over the Dewey Bridge on the Cisco cutoff.
Used to be an official for Moab Rim (tail gunner & dad was leader). Lots of good memories from there, from back in the good ol’ days.
Wife has family there, so usually go a couple times a year now.

I have more questions than answers.
Looks like I stopped going about the time Steve was going as a vendor. I always took my bronco and nobody ever said anything negative.

As mentioned you would spend all day on a run. We would go other times if the year and get 2-3 in a day at a leisure pace. My cousin was there last weekend and did poison spider and was trying to decide which one to do next while eating lunch. Not sure what he decided as our conversation got sidetracked and I had to go.

If you have never been and want a tour guide by all means go. Just know it's going to be a long slow day. Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Take lots of pictures.
