Thanks man! It is a cool one for sure and feels tight. It's gonna make a great driver. I bought the '70 Carmel Bronze from you and I do still have it. It's my main daily these days.
Glad to here you still have it. I miss it sometimes, it was a fun ride! Thanks correcting me, I forgot it was a 70! Some day I would love to get another one that was more on the stock side than my 67.

Ginger is up there on my list of favorite interiors too but it's hard to beat an orange explorer interior. One day... haha! It was a stripe delete and no rocker molding added. at first I wanted to add the stripe back but then I saw it was deleted so I'll leave it as it is.
Cool! I guess I have never saw a ranger with out one or the other this a first for me but I am young and still learning! Nice bronco for sure and how are you going to get both of your new rides to throw back?

I got a sweet little stock early 66 half cab I'd let go. ;)
I would love to have your half cab. Over the years, every time I went shopping for another Bronco. I was never able to find a suitable half cab. So I would settle on what I could find, a wagon. But before I can pursue the half cab dream again. I have to finish my current build.

Congratulations finding that great "Orange" Ranger. It sure is a nice Bronco. I am considering a trip to this falls Throwback event. Maybe we will see one of your Broncos and meet you as well.

I'm not sure what will make it to throwback this year! I drove the new 68 last fall but y'all weren't there! Haha. If the lady and I both get to go I might drive the 68 and let her bring the Ranger.

gnsteam, Half cabs are awesome! They feel a lot different driving them for sure. I hope yall make it out to TN. It's always an awesome time and would love to put a face to the avatar. Haha.

The Bronco appears to be pretty nice and solid. I'm thinking has been repainted at some point, or your door strikers and bear pawls wouldn't have paint on them. Whenever or whatever was done, it appears to have been a long time ago. What's weird is, not seeing overspray on other stuff. So, they took time to disassemble or replace and or mask very well, but missed those couple items.
Beautiful ride regardless.

Ford started painting the strikers/latches around '74-'75ish so that could be factory paint on them.

yeah, I agree on latches. I feel like its a 75 model year beginning. Painted latches seem to roll in sometimes as early as Nov 74 on some Broncos.. I just looked at pics of originals on BAT and also in my files. The Bajas built 12/74 1/75 however dont show painted latches. Might be special paint dept. choice there.

A lot of people think that when they see the painted latches but Todd and Andrew are correct, it is really only seen on 75 and up broncos, at least from the ones I've seen. This orange bronco is definitely sporting its original paint. I could tell that just by looking at it but a friend brought his paint gauge over the other day and I checked it to confirm. Everywhere was around 3 mil or so but the roof of the hardtop which was 6 but has obviously been painted in the past.

I put in an order for brakes, shocks, typical tune up stuff and also new headlights. Pretty cool cibie replicas. I'm waiting on all the stuff to come in but I did manage to break down the front end some in preparation. Headlights came in and look good, much better than the led's in my opinion. So if anyone likes the LED's, I have a set for sale. Internet says they are 140 or so. I will take 99 bucks or make me an offer.

Your '75 is a beauty, Jessie! I'm with you all the way on the headlights! I know in today's world of blinding bright headlights, our old Bronco luminaries are about like a candle fly in comparison, but the LED bugeyed look in an EB just makes me hurt to look one in the face!
