• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Price: $ Negotiable

Selling a unique 1966 Ford Bronco project vehicle. I obtained this truck a couple of months ago with plans to restore it, but plans have changed and it needs to go.
Please note that this is a project vehicle—it is not currently registered, and it is NOT in mechanical running condition.

Important Title & VIN Information

  • The vehicle comes with a clean Texas title.
  • Due to significant prior modifications, the VIN on the title does not match the vehicle
  • There is no way to determine the original chassis or body VIN. It is sold strictly as a heavily modified project.
Frame, Suspension & Powertrain Setup
This Bronco features a highly customized hybrid chassis configuration:

  • Engine: Toyota 2.7L 3RZ 16-valve 4-cylinder engine under the hood (likely sourced from a 1995–2004 4x4 Tacoma or 4Runner
  • Transmission: Toyota 5-speed manual transmission.
  • Frame: The original Toyota donor frame was cut and spliced into the Bronco frame just in front of the rear leaf spring mounts.
  • Front Suspension: Toyota Independent Front Suspension (IFS) featuring CV axles, a 7.5-inch differential housing, upper/lower control arms (A-arms), torsion bars, shock absorbers, and front disc brakes.
  • Rear Suspension: Traditional Ford 9-inch solid rear axle with drum brakes, a leaf spring setup, and single shocks.
  • 3" suspension lift
Current Condition & Missing Parts
  • Fluids: All fluids have been completely drained from the engine, transmission, and transfer case.
  • Tires & Wheels: The tires have plenty of tread remaining. The older wheels have been spray-painted gold.
  • Lighting: The two headlight lenses are cracked. The turn signals currently consist only of the external lenses (no inner turn signal assemblies).
  • Body & Tailgate: The body is in decent shape for being 60 years old. The repaint is old and will require typical body work and a fresh paint job. The rear tailgate is currently jammed/inoperable and will need to be looked at.
  • Missing Components: I do not have the complete exhaust system, the radiator, the transmission cooler, or the front and rear bumpers.

Looking at this Bronco is like watching the kids on a St. Jude's commercial. I just can't.
I just feel so bad for it🙁
