    Oil viscosity

As I close in on what seems like a 20 year rebuild some things I used to do are a little foggy. I have had a bronco, mustang, falcon, or fairlane (at times 2 or 3) my whole life. I have some break in oil for the virgin 71 351w I rebuilt by punching 20 over. A torquey voodoo cam carb and...

    CA 1966 U14

Thinking it might not be a three speed. Shifter mounts awful far forward, and the knob indicates a 4 speed. NP435?, T19?, T18? Nice ride

2024 Is This theYear I Finally Make Progress on My 12 plus year Build update: Engine is Running

Most of the jackass moves on my 68 I may have played a hand at. I used a piece of heater hose with a wire tie in it to repair a radius arm bushing once hunting near grand junction. I forgot about till about a year later.

1970 Ford Bronco 302 - Carburetor, Distributer and Intake Manifold Leaks

In my experience going to a 4 barrel on otherwise stock engine with have marginal impact on performance. It will however burn a lot more gas. Mine got 18-19, then out 465 Holley on it and got 12-13

    Failed heim stud

I am no metallurgist, but always believed a flat fracture like that to be from a tensile failure. Since the taper was tight and carrying the load first thing to come to mind would be an over torqued situation. Would be a little unsettling if it ever happened again, you are lucky. Go buy power...

    Lift off hinge mods

I wanted to go with lift on hinges and real doors, and not hack up mine and play with single shear and double shear forces. But I am hoping to use my fiberglass door inserts when I do. I have mediocre to avg steel fab and welding skills, but have been fabricating fiberglass for 30 years. Who...
