Thats That’s good news! I can remove the pan but not sure I’m up for the task of removing the valve body. I’m getting conflicting info online saying the VB needs to come off. It’s the later model 4r70w (1998+) with the plastic internal wire harness if that matters?

I wondered if 4 guys could just lift it off. Did you remove doors, front fenders, etc, or everything stayed and you just muscled it on?

How did you lift the body off. Can it be done with an engine hoist through one of the door openings? I’ve got a standard 2 car garage like @Jakedog and have the same question about ways to get off? Sure wish I had one of those special friends a 2 post to make quick work of it.
