Thank you for your reply 🙏 I figured it out by pulling the wire out of the plug. There where remains of a green wire there with a stripe. So I tested the third input and it worked. Problem solved

So my 1966 stopped charging the battery and after some digging I found this yellow wire had gone bad. Question is Does it connect to the upper or lower input. I could not tell where it had been. I also see no other wires that could possible have been there. The Yellow wire has 12v power on it...
