Have you looked at the Carbon winches?

If you center the steering wheel, have you counted how many turns lock to lock? Is it the same?

Any wires attached? If so have you followed them?

I know we have talked about turbulence before. Have you tried hanging ribbons/strings underneath and mounting a camera or 2 then going for a drive covering different speeds?

Does it quit when you release the key from crank to run?

The gm fan requires you to open the hole up and new mounting spots iirc. Unaware of a smaller assy that puts out more air. I'm sure there is something out there.

You might want to consider making the fan hole for a gm motor/blower as an option.
